AutoMashwara is built around objective decision intelligence. We collect minimal personal data necessary to provide accurate automotive advice:

  • Decision Profile Data: Budget parameters, usage requirements (family, commuter, desert off-road), and climate durability preferences entered into our Decision Matrix.
  • Community Contributions & Reviews: Verified ownership ratings, workshop maintenance feedback, and optional vehicle photos submitted by community members.
  • Account Information: If you register or sign in, we record your display name, email address, avatar choice, and saved vehicle garage bookmarks.
  • Technical Diagnostics & Telemetry: Anonymized browser type, operating system, screen dimensions, time zone, and interaction timeline (e.g., vehicles viewed, brochure downloads) to help optimize algorithmic matching.

2. Cookies & Local Storage Disclosure

AutoMashwara utilizes browser Local Storage and temporary session tokens rather than intrusive third-party cross-site advertising cookies:

3. How We Use Your Information & Zero Ad Reselling

Your answers in the Decision Matrix are used solely to run algorithmic vehicle scoring tailored to GCC climate conditions (Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain).

No Data Brokerage: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or decision answers to automotive dealerships, banks, or third-party marketing brokers. Direct dealer contact is initiated strictly by your own explicit click (such as clicking an official dealership enquiry link).

4. Third-Party Services & Content Delivery

To maintain high performance and responsive typography, our platform integrates standard trusted static content delivery networks:

  • Google Fonts: High-performance web font delivery (Inter & Outfit).
  • Cloudflare / FontAwesome: Vector iconography delivery.
  • Tailwind CSS CDN: Modular responsive presentation framework.
  • Google AdSense: We may display contextual advertisements served by Google AdSense (Google Privacy Policy). AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to show relevant ads. These ads are only activated if you have explicitly accepted analytics cookies via our cookie consent banner. You may opt out at any time via Google Ads Settings.

5. Data Retention & Security Architecture

All communications between your browser and AutoMashwara are secured with industry-standard TLS encryption. Client-side telemetry logs are strictly FIFO-rotated (limited to the last 50 session events) to prevent unnecessary data accumulation.

In compliance with the State of Qatar Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016) and international data governance frameworks (such as GDPR):

  • Right to Erasure: You may request complete deletion of your account and community posts at any time.
  • Right to Object: You can reject non-essential telemetry tracking without impacting your ability to browse cars or run decision matrix calculations.
